As a church that started off as a college ministry, we have a deep desire to invest in the lives of the college students God brings our way.
Over the years we have seen many young adults come through our doors, and our church family has been honored to be part of their spiritual formation while in Baton Rouge. Whether with us for just a few semesters or well into adulthood, college students are welcomed into the full life of Living Hope Fellowship and our mission, “Leading people to a more intimate relationship with God, for His glory.”
If you are a college student looking for a church family, there are many great congregations in our city that would love to welcome you in and help you feel at home. We at Living Hope Fellowship are so glad you’re here in Baton Rouge, and would love to get to meet you!
The College Community Group is a great entry point for those looking to become part of this faith family. As a church, we strive to be relationally-driven in all aspects of life. Whether that's pushing each other more deeply with Christ, or going beyond surface level friendships with your buddies, we believe that God designed us for relationships. In college, it's crucial to be surrounded by those who are on the same journey. Each Monday night, the church Staff leads a discussion-based Bible study for our college students, striving to make it a place where faith, hope, and love can abide, and real life is shared with one another.
In addition to the weekly rhythm of the Sunday worship gathering and Monday night Community Group, there are other events throughout the year just for college students, such as a tailgate party, camping/hiking trips, and an end of school beach retreat. Our events page will let you know what is coming up soon, and if you want more details on the Community Group or anything else at all, just email staff@livinghopebr.com.
